PRIVATE GIN CLUB

Client: Whitechapel
Location: San Francisco, CA

When our social media client Whitechapel needed help branding their secret gin club, we were thrilled to create an identity for them that felt exclusive and mysterious. Meet the Polk Street Irregulars, a secret Gin Club for juniper-forward spirit enthusiasts. The goal with this identity was to incorporate gilded elements that would be seen on membership cards, serve as a header to tasting cards, an anchor in event flyers for monthly tastings, and as a focal point on some bad-ass S.W.A.G.

Brand Identity

The main logotype for Polk Street Irregulars includes the various taglines that help definite the brand. Sprigs of Juniper (the main botanical used in Gin distillation) and icons of bottles accent this logotype and are also featured in the stamped emblem version of the logo as well. It was important to have both logo options so that the branding holds strong in smaller applications such as the membership card, tasting notes and enamel pin

TASTING NOTES + Membership Cards

A key benefit of this Gin Club Membership is the special “Meet the Distiller” events and monthly Gin Tastings. As the club is a multi-level educational process, the interactive aspects of membership needed branded elements such as tasting notes and membership cards to tie the entire experience together as an exclusive and specialized offering by Whitechapel.

SWAG

No club would be complete without customary enamel pins and tote bags for its members. Not only do these elements offer a sense of appreciation and community, they also serve as an enticing visual promotion of the club to the outside world.
